Fiona Rooney BA, BAAD is an Archaeologist, Interdisciplinary Artist, Creative Movement Facilitator, and Shamanic Practitioner, and Healer. Offering healing space over the last 22 years.
A graduate of the Dancing the Rainbow Teacher Training and Marion Woodman Foundation Leadership Training. Since 1999 she has trained in Reiki and with Shamanic Practitioners based in Ireland and Sweden. Working in Athenry Cancer Care, Amber Healing, and more recently from SETU Studio Space in Clarinbridge, ‘House of Healing’ in Craughwell, and online.
Fiona’s Practice has been enriched by over 15 yrs of experiencing BodyMind Centering and Authentic movement with Bernadette Divilly. The practice of Authentic Movement with a Safe Witness brought in a capacity to Welcome all that arises. Bodymind Centering explores developmental movement, from pre-conception, through to implantation, birth, and the early years of movement. Both these modalities have brought a greater capacity for healing.
Fiona is presently offering Transforming the Experienced Based Brain, it is like the cord pulling together all that is held in my bag of experience.
Fíona facilitates creative movement/art classes, courses and has exhibited locally. Her interest is in Art Collaboration with other ‘Makers’ as a way of offering ‘Gift Spaces’.
