One of the populations I support is immigrants and their families who came to Canada as their new home. I also support people who are dealing with depression and anxiety, traumatic experiences, high stress level, life-transitioning situations such as break ups, career changes, moving to a new country, and adjusting to a new environment.
As a Gestalt-trained psychotherapist, I work in an experiential way with my clients to support them process their emotions by using active listening, discussion, art, inner- and outer- dialogues, & psychodrama. I also use the Somatic Experiencing to support my clients process their body sensations therefore to move through their traumatic experiences.
I worked with newcomer families for many years, supporting them with their emotional and academic challenges, working with people in a therapeutic session is the passion of my life. I have faith in the healing through therapeutic relationships. I am a sex-positive therapist. As a POC, I am passionate about honouring differences. I invite you to reach out to me to book your first consultation.
