My work integrates both creative and healing arts and is somatically based. My undergraduate degree is in neural physiology and my graduate studies were in the performing arts after which I engaged in an extensive career as a performer, director, and coach in the worlds of dance, circus and theatre. Injuries as well as my own history and healing journey led me to become a certified teacher of the F.M. Alexander Technique, Cranio-Sacral Therapist, Somatic-Experience Practitioner, Somatic Resilience and Regulation Practitioner, Transforming the Experience Based Brain Practitioner, and teacher of Mindfulness Meditation. I began my private practice in 1991 and my work focuses on creating a safe space for people to explore habitual patterns that interfere with the ability to be fully embodied and present in their lives. I am motivated by our innate ability to heal and grow, and wisdom of the body to guide that journey. I speak English, French and Italian fluently and have comprehension of German and Spanish. I am dedicated to service and for many years have been a hospice volunteer. I work with children and adults of all ages, including pregnant women and newborns.
