My approach is built on compassion, care and respect for the experiences and identities that make you who you are, whether you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, health issues, or relationships. I believe that our bodies, minds and hearts, in relationship with others and our environment, hold keys to healing and thriving.

As a clinical social worker, I draw upon life experience, including a dedicated meditation practice since 2006, a previous career in social justice work, anti-oppression lenses, and years of healing through therapy and other modalities to our work together, to be present with and support you. I integrate Transforming Touch (Transforming the Experienced-Based Brain), Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, AEDP, and mindfulness/meditation, to support clients in being able to know their inner resources more clearly, to inhabit their bodies and receive care more fully, and to deepen compassion and wisdom along the way.

In therapy, we can work with your challenges and resilience, and can also draw upon cultural and community pain points and strengths, including those of your ancestors, when it is supportive. In addition to your personal and family history, identities such as race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, body type, economic status, age, immigration history, are integrated in our work – as can any type of spirituality – so you can bring your whole self to our work together.

I see adults aged 18 and up online and in-person on Thursdays and alternate Mondays and Fridays.
