Co-Regulating touch is my primary practice. I'm certified as a Transforming Touch® Practitioner and a level II Reiki provider. I have served as an Interfaith Chaplain at a Level I Trauma Hospital and in a jail setting. I also supported those experiencing suicidality as a crisis counselor.
The consequences early development trauma may manifest as: anxiety, depression, dissociation, feelings of losing control, an inability to relax, a lack of energy to face the day, difficulties in relationships, fears of abandonment, challenges in setting boundaries, self-injury, substance misuse, eating disorders, sleep disturbances, and memory issues.
I assist the nervous system in healing and rebalancing from early trauma. This fosters a more stable sense of 'okayness', greater vitality, and more inner space to shape our outer lives. I rely on the innate healing wisdom of our bodies in the midst of co-regulation. I recognize that as social beings, trauma often happens in relationship, and so does healing.
"Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness" ~ Peter Levine
My life passions are naturopathy, non-duality, minimalism, and playing sports.
