I am a somatic specialist focused on early developmental, ancestral, inter-generational, bicultural, and relational trauma and human attachment. I work with people of all ages and backgrounds and have extensive experience working with people with chronic illness, disordered eating, and overcoming addiction. I am trained in concrete ways to support our nervous systems as relational beings, identify and shift behavioral and emotional patterns, and honor our interconnected and interdependent experiences as human beings.
The support I offer is built on the progression of many deep healing studies over the years. I utilize the concrete trauma healing tools gained from training in both TEB/Transforming Touch® and Somatic Resilience and Regulation® and deeper studies in human attachment through Diane Poole Heller’s Therapy Mastermind Group.
My work is also informed by a wide array of neurophysiology + relational models by a variety of incredibly wise and experienced teachers: Sue Johnson, Stan Tatkin, Richard Schwarz, Stephen Porges, Deb Dana, Peter Levine, Gabor Maté, Bessel van der Kolk, Resmaa Menakem, Arielle Schwartz, Ester Perel and Emily Nagoski, among others.
I also integrate the knowledge and tools gained from 16 years spent working with indigenous teachers of various traditions, my many years of experience as an embodied movement facilitator + wilderness rites of passage guide, and my process of reversing disease in the body, which has led me to study a myriad of ways to heal and live a more empowered, happy, and fulfilling life and given me the tools and experience to support others in doing the same. My healing is ongoing, and I continue to pursue ongoing professional education to expand my knowledge base and gain new tools to expand the support I offer my clients.
