Greetings and salutations! I am a licensed clinical social worker and SEP who has completed many of Kathy Kain and Steve Terell's trainings. In my 20+ years of experience, most of my clients, adults and teens, have been survivors of childhood trauma. I have had in depth experience with survivors of intimate partner abuse (aka domestic. violence). Recently, many of my clients have had the experience of growing up in households where there was violence or the threat thereof.
I do this work in Seattle, WA after spending decades in the DC non-profit community and growing up in South Louisiana. I believe that our bodies have the ability to heal and form new neural pathways that improve our lives; co-regulating touch and secure attachment can offer our nervous systems the support they need to do this. Psychoeducation, connection, gentleness, authenticity, laughter and playfulness are important parts of my healing practice.
