I find it a privilege to work with those who have experienced trauma or are caught in depression. I am passionate about opening access to life changing therapeutic processes. I delivered Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to clients caught in a storm of intense emotion, as part of a specialised mental health team for many years. My experience shows me that there is a way out of suffering.
I work with people who feel restricted and caught in depression, who know something is missing from their lives and are seeking a connection to themselves and thereby joy and fulfilment.
To experience low self-esteem, self-consciousness, shyness, and self-rejection is to suffer. The root of low self-esteem is having feelings that you do not like, do not understand and having the belief that something is wrong with you.
I work to support growth through development of self -understanding. This process makes space for the arising of compassion and thereby decreasing critical self-judgements. I work to support connection to natural wisdom in the body.
There is always hope. We can be reconciled with and befriend the parts of ourselves that we have separated from. When we feel alive, we feel connected, and when we feel connected, we feel alive.
