My approach incorporates more than 25 years of study and work in the field of body-mind explorations : yoga, meditation, massage therapy, yoga therapy and somatic therapy.
I find that building a quality of listening and presence to your body and to yourself is a unique foundation for health. This presence can improve resilience and empowerment while helping to reduce certain symptoms of health conditions. Building presence helps cultivate your vitality, access to your internal resources and your capacities for self-healing and regulating.
My primary goal is to support you in your ability to recognize what you experience in the present moment, whether physiological or emotional. I am particularly interested in women's health and managing symptoms related to stress, anxiety, trauma, exhaustion and chronic pain.
Depending on your needs and interests, I draw on several methods such as meditation, mindfulness, movement, adapted and restorative yoga postures, respiratory work, relaxation, Somatic Experiencing, Transforming the Experience-Based Brain and somatic touch.
Trying Yoga Therapy and Somatic Therapy, in my experience, can be a step on a path of independence, (re)connection and kindness. Together, we can develop practices and strategies that will improve your resources and your well-being so that you become your best ally in your relationship to yourself and to others.
