Deanna Clasby

Deanna Clasby

Deanna Clasby has been a bodywork practitioner since 2003. She is a certified Rolfer, trained in various trauma-informed, regulation-oriented, approaches of bodywork, that she integrates into her hands-on bodywork practice. Her bodywork sessions decrease, in a titrated way, the amount of bracing & tension held in the muscular and fasciae systems. And increases deeper levels of regulation, relaxation, and bodily well being. This work can be a great adjunct for those already receiving mental health therapy. As well as, for those who feel that a helpful part of their healing journey is to receive hands-on care, where they feel deeply held, in body and soul.

The clients Deanna works with have functional goals that are related to transforming their physical discomforts. Such as chronic pain, traumatic injuries, or the physical tension & bracing patterns that are held in response to stress & trauma. As well as, the goal to feel ease, comfort, and a deep sense of connection and goodness within their own body tissues, movements and felt sense of embodiment.

If you have physical body symptoms, or goals, that you would like to address in a trauma-informed way, we can explore the possibilities that this work could hold for you on your healing path.

Please note, Deanna Clasby is a Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Washington. Deanna Clasby is not a licensed mental health therapist, and does not provide mental health therapy. Please contact me if you have questions regarding whether this approach is appropriate for your current needs, orientation, and level of care.
